Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the Libre Real-Time Glucose Monitor extension (“the extension”) handles and how. The extension is developed by an individual developer (“we”). In short: the extension talks only to LibreLinkUp/LibreView, keeps everything in your browser, and we never receive any of your data.
1. Data the extension handles

2. Where data is sent
The extension sends data only to the official LibreLinkUp/LibreView API operated by Abbott (api.libreview.io or a regional server such as api-eu.libreview.io), and only to:
- sign in with the email and password you entered, and
- retrieve your connection information and glucose readings.
All communication uses HTTPS. Your use of LibreLinkUp/LibreView is subject to Abbott’s own terms and privacy policy.
3. What we do not do
- We do not operate any server, and no data is sent to us or to any third party other than LibreLinkUp/LibreView.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data.
- We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or creditworthiness or lending purposes.
- The extension contains no analytics, tracking, advertising code, or remote code.
- The extension does not read or modify the web pages you visit and does not collect your browsing history.
4. Permissions
- storage – saves your settings, credentials (locally), and recent readings.
- alarms – updates readings in the background at the interval you choose.
- notifications – shows the alerts you enable.
- Host access to *.libreview.io – communicates with the LibreLinkUp/LibreView API.
5. Data retention and deletion
Data stays in your browser until you delete it. You can remove it at any time by clearing the email and password in the extension’s settings, or by uninstalling the extension, which deletes all data stored by the extension. The sign-in token is deleted automatically when the browser closes.
6. Security
Credentials are stored using the browser’s extension storage, which other websites and extensions cannot access. Please protect access to your computer and browser profile, as anyone with access to them may be able to use the stored credentials.
7. Medical disclaimer
The extension is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Readings may be delayed or unavailable. Do not make treatment decisions based on the extension; consult a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because we do not collect any data ourselves, no data about any user is held by us.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

本ポリシーは、ブラウザー拡張機能「Libre Real-Time Glucose Monitor」（以下「本拡張機能」）が取り扱うデータとその取り扱い方法について説明するものです。本拡張機能は個人の開発者（以下「当方」）が開発しています。要点は次のとおりです。本拡張機能は LibreLinkUp/LibreView とのみ通信し、データはすべてお使いのブラウザー内に保存されます。当方がお客様のデータを受け取ることは一切ありません。
1. 本拡張機能が取り扱うデータ

2. データの送信先
本拡張機能がデータを送信するのは、Abbott 社が運営する LibreLinkUp/LibreView の公式 API（api.libreview.io または api-eu.libreview.io などの地域別サーバー）のみです。送信は次の目的に限られます。
- お客様が入力したメールアドレスとパスワードによるサインイン
- お客様の接続情報と血糖値データの取得
通信はすべて HTTPS で行われます。LibreLinkUp/LibreView のご利用には、Abbott 社の利用規約およびプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
3. 当方が行わないこと
- 当方はサーバーを運営しておらず、当方および LibreLinkUp/LibreView 以外の第三者にデータが送信されることはありません。
- お客様のデータを販売、貸与、共有することはありません。
- 広告、分析、プロファイリング、信用力の判断や融資の目的でデータを使用することはありません。
- 本拡張機能には、アクセス解析、トラッキング、広告のコード、リモートコードは含まれていません。
- 本拡張機能は、閲覧中の Web ページの読み取りや変更を行わず、閲覧履歴も収集しません。
4. 権限について
- storage：設定、認証情報（端末内のみ）、直近の測定値を保存します。
- alarms：お客様が選んだ間隔で、バックグラウンドで測定値を更新します。
- notifications：お客様が有効にした通知を表示します。
- *.libreview.io へのアクセス：LibreLinkUp/LibreView の API と通信します。
5. データの保存期間と削除
データは、お客様が削除するまでブラウザー内に保存されます。本拡張機能の設定画面でメールアドレスとパスワードを消去するか、本拡張機能をアンインストールすることで、いつでも削除できます。アンインストールすると、本拡張機能が保存したデータはすべて削除されます。サインイントークンは、ブラウザーを閉じると自動的に削除されます。
6. セキュリティ
認証情報は、他の Web サイトや拡張機能からはアクセスできない、ブラウザーの拡張機能用ストレージに保存されます。お使いのパソコンやブラウザーのプロファイルにアクセスできる人は保存された認証情報を利用できる可能性があるため、端末の管理には十分ご注意ください。
7. 医療に関する免責事項
本拡張機能は医療機器ではなく、医学的な助言を提供するものではありません。表示される値は遅れたり、取得できなかったりする場合があります。本拡張機能の表示をもとに治療に関する判断をせず、必ず医師などの医療専門家にご相談ください。
8. お子様について
本拡張機能は13歳未満のお子様を対象としておらず、当方がお子様の情報を意図的に収集することはありません。また、当方はいかなる利用者のデータも収集・保有していません。

本ポリシーを変更する場合は、このページで最終更新日とともに公開します。
